The Kyosho Javelin was a repackaged version of the original Optima. The standard lexan body that we had all gotten used to seeing was replaced with a roll cage. The roll cage was made of orange abs plastic with a lexan wing, an aluminum roof with a lexan driver. Later Kyosho came out with a body set of the same design that was a sort of bright green. I’ve only seen these NIP. I’m not sure what they look like if properly installed with the wing painted the same color. The original rims were also given a brushed aluminum look. The paint that was used for this was not very tolerant to scratching and most ended up more white than silver. This was the last kit to use the wide spaced spike "Sand Super tires.
